G.S. Jones applies common sense to the restoration of contents. First, a determination as to whether the entire dwelling needs to be moved to the secure climate controlled warehouse facility or if a portion of the dwellings contents need to be relocated. Second, a pack-out team arrives on site and immediately determines if there are any contents that need to be removed from the environment immediately to prevent further damage. Third, a complete room by room photographic inventory with descriptions is developed prior to item packaging and transfer to our warehouse. Fourth, the items will be assessed at our location to determine the cost effectiveness of restoring versus replacement. Not only are items considered for their monetary value, but also for their emotional value (i.e. family photographs, heirlooms, and etc.). Fifth, upon approval from the owner and Insurance Adjuster, restorative work will begin on the contents. The entire job will be completed to coincide with the completion of the restoration of your home or place of business and delivered back.
G.S. Jones has invested, or has access to, state of the art equipment to eliminate smoke odor from contents and to restore them to their pre-loss condition. Some of the equipment we utilize is as follows:
- Ozone generation
